Centerpoint Health – Winchester Earns an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for Fourth Reporting Cycle

WINCHESTER, Ky. (May 6, 2026) – Centerpoint Health – Winchester (formerly Clark Regional Medical Center) earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. This marks the fourth consecutive reporting cycle the hospital has received the top grade, reinforcing its continued dedication to delivering safe, high-quality care to the community.

Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on more than 30 performance measures, including errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.
