GEORGETOWN, Ky. (May 6, 2026) -- Centerpoint Health, a newly unified regional healthcare system serving Central Kentucky, today released its 2025 Community Benefit Report, outlining the organization’s significant contributions to the health, economic vitality and overall well-being of the communities it serves.
Formed in 2026 through the integration of four individual Lifepoint Health facilities, Centerpoint Health represents a connected system of care across Georgetown, Winchester, Versailles and Paris—delivering high-quality, compassionate care close to home.
“As we come together under the Centerpoint Health name, this report reflects both where we’ve been and where we’re going,” said Bruce Tassin, Market President of Centerpoint Health. “Our hospitals have long been trusted pillars in their communities. Today, as one system, we are expanding access, investing in innovation and strengthening our impact across Central Kentucky.”
In 2025, Centerpoint Health provided more than $69.6 million in charity care and uncompensated care, ensuring access to essential healthcare services for patients regardless of their ability to pay.
The report also highlights continued investment in community-focused initiatives, including more than $2 million in community benefit programs, supporting physician recruitment, health services, education and outreach efforts across the region.
Centerpoint Health’s impact extends beyond patient care. In 2025:
- The system invested nearly $12.2 million in capital improvements, enhancing facilities, technology and patient experience across all four hospitals.
- More than $154.3 million was distributed in payroll to approximately 1,690 employees, reinforcing the organization’s role as a major employer in the region.
- The system contributed over $28.2 million in state and local taxes, supporting public services and infrastructure.
- Centerpoint Health generated a total economic impact exceeding $257.6 million across Central Kentucky.
“Healthcare is more than what happens inside our hospitals,” Tassin added. “It’s about supporting our workforce, strengthening our local economy and investing in the long-term health of our communities. This report shows how deeply connected our physicians, providers and employees are to the people they serve.”
Guided by its mission of making communities healthier®, Centerpoint Health continues to expand service lines, recruit new providers and invest in advanced technologies to meet the evolving needs of patients across the region. All four hospitals are recognized as Lifepoint Health National Quality Leaders, reflecting excellence in patient care, safety and clinical outcomes.
