Emergency Room Physician Receives National Recognition for Life-Saving Care Provided at Centerpoint Health

PARIS, Ky. (June 29, 2026) – A Centerpoint Health – Paris emergency physician and TeamHealth assistant facility medical director, Dr. Hugh Loeffler, has been recognized with an Amazing Save Award at TeamHealth’s 2026 National Medical Leadership Conference, an honor presented to clinicians who demonstrate extraordinary clinical excellence and patient-centered care to make a life-saving difference when every moment counts.

Dr. Loeffler received the recognition following his response to a critical airway emergency that prevented respiratory arrest — saving the patient’s life.
